Apprentice Program

Skyline's 2019 Apprentice is Julia Huston from Bergen Academies

Julia is a senior at Bergen County Academies in the Academy for Visual and Performing Arts with a Theatre Concentration. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Skyline Theatre Company and her mentor, Mr. Scalamoni, every Wednesday to learn about the professional theatre industry. In addition to being an apprentice at Skyline she spends most of her time dancing at Infinite Motion Performing Arts Academy as a part of their Senior Dance Company. She is very involved with student government at school as a representative for the Theatre Council and the head of the Miscast Fundraiser Committee where she helps plan, organize, and conduct community outreach through her love of performing.
The Skyline Theatre Company Apprentice Program gives students the opportunity to work directly with professionals in a production setting.
  • Technical Apprentices assist directors, designers, choreographers, and staff during rehearsal and production.
  • Performing Apprentices experience the professional rehearsal and production process from auditions to closing night.

Skyline's season runs fall through spring each year; we do not use apprentices in the summer. We use apprentices for specific productions and special events rather than year-round.

If you are interested in becoming an apprentice at Skyline, please fill out the form below (including your areas of interest AND the dates and/or production for which you might be available), and we will contact you regarding an interview.

Fill out this form if you would like to be involved in Skyline's Apprentice Program. We will contact you with further information.
